The software landscape is changing constantly. Please contact the Support Team in case you encounter problems with any of the software described below or to propose other solutions that you have found to be useful in connection with SensusAccess. 

E-book readers

Adobe Digital Editions. EPUB3 e-book reader for Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX (Mac).

Dolphin EasyReader for Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX (Mac). Also supports math, but appears to require MathPlayer to do so.

VI Reader. EPUB e-book reader for people with visual impairments or dyslexia for Apple iOS and Google Android.

DAISY Players

Dolphin EasyReader for Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX (Mac). Also supports math, but appears to require MathPlayer to do so.

Math

MathType by Wiris (formerly by Design Science). Equation editor for Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX (Mac) for creating accessible math contents in documents, presentations, web pages and more.

EquatIO by TextHelp. Recognises math in scanned documents, including handwritten math. Recognised math objects can be inserted as MathType into other documents.

InftyReader. An Optical Character Recognition (OCR) application for recognising and conversion of scanned scientific documents (including math symbols) into LaTeX, MathML and XHTML.

Braille

Braille in the Portable Embosser Format (PEF) can be embossed using Dotify Studio. Free installers for Windows, Mac OS, Linux and other platforms can be downloaded from the following link: https://github.com/brailleapps/dotify-studio/releases.
